Such a huge loss Zeze. After my husband died, my little dog, Angel was such a comfort. When she died last year, I was distraught. Because ofmy afe and cancer treatment, I had decided not to get another dog, but my doctor strongly advised me to. Gracie is a lovely little thing, and brightens my day. After I lost Angel, I just wanted to die. She is buried in my garden with my previous precious girls. They are gone, but not forgotten. Take care and stay safe. Love from Susan in UK.

So sorry… I lost my cat in 2022 to two aggressive cancers and I’d had him from a kitten and he was 15 when he passed. I believe our furrr babies go to heaven and I know they visit us. I have five cats now and yep I’m the crazy cat lady but I love them with my whole heart! I miss my Cello everyday! RIP sweet pup. 🐾💛

In 2016 my dog was almost 18. Xmas eve I was barely able to get up. I'm positive I had almost died. Never was that sick in my life. My dog couldn't get up out of bed until I was on my parents couch. She would struggle so bad to get up every few minutes to come check on me. It was as if she knew we were both barely holding on. I was too sick he next morning to be with her when my folks went to put her down. I still get so sad thinking about it. I so understand. I feel for you big time. I am going up the list from your 1st video and playing catch up, the best I can. Might take a few days but I am so with you in spirit. 100% feeling for you so far. Infinite love n light sent your way!

Im sorry for your loss it hurts i had to get my first dog put down 2 years ago on the 25th of may (also my birthday😢) he was 14 years old i have his son still and he will be 8 in August, i had to get my dog put down because his back legs went due to old age he was suffering im crying my eyes out now 😢😢

I just lost my dog Odie who was 14, a long haired Doxie. It truly is so hard to lose our precious furry family members. Most importantly they love us completely unconditionally and that is how they win over our hearts forever. God be with you as you learn to live without him in your life. Hugs my new friend.

Kidney issued are detectable with regular vet visits. Had he had tomely vet visits you may have saved or extended his life. If you're going to own a pet you must be a responsible owner and be able to provide not just food and shelter, it needs regular vet visits which aren't cheap. Consider that before adopting...ask yourself: can i afford the vet bills...if a financial difficulty arose, can I still afford the vet bills. If the answer is no, then you should not have a pet. Continuing to own a pet when you cannot provide medical is irresponsible. RIP Bruce Bruce

I appreciate your concern on this topic. Unfortunately, he was up to date on all vet visits as he had to be for my service animal. Lack of vet visits was not the case here. His kidney failure was sudden. His vet explained it's common in his breed and can be hard to detect. ... as far as financial, the recommendation was a minimum of $1000 a day to flush his kidneys for 3 weeks with no guarantee he would make it. Thats nearly a down payment on a mortgage. The problem isnt the pet owners. The problem is the system taking advantage of peoples pockets to save their loved ones. So I will have to disagree with your statement insinuating I was an irresponsible pet owner.

@@zezeDesire Don't listen to the negative comments zeze. I just had to put down my 12.5 year old girl 3 weeks ago. She got diagnosed with kidney and liver problems at around 10 years old. I changed her diet a little and she lived another happy 2.5 years. Could I have gone down the expensive dialysis road and expensive treatment costs the vet wanted me to? I could have, but I didn't. I do feel pain and guilt as you do, but all that matters in life is we love our furry little friends and do the best we can for them. As you did.
