This games defenses are such trash. You can go from health bar never moving to dead in a fraction of a second even with all of the layers fully maxed out. They really need to figure this out for PoE2.

The real problem is players life recovery is just too high so damage needs to be dealt in spikes to kill the player. It's very noticable in less recovery maps where the life globe goes from 100% all the time and running through juiced expedition mobs without any issue to "my life flask is empty guess I'll die" when being shot by 3 random arrows from some trash skeleton archer.

0:25 That's suprisingly not chaos damage but a combination of all elemental damages. NVM: it seems they've changed it to chaos damage in 3.21 "PoE 3.21: The Rare Monster modifier that triggers purple crystals when the monster is hit now has larger crystals, and the crystals have a slightly longer delay before exploding after the monster dies. The crystals now deal Chaos Damage instead of Elemental Damage, and have had their damage lowered."

well because you record yourself and you got a death recap... but even if you see what happened most likely you will think how the fuck could i have avoided THAT,.. or even know it was coming, you are either attacking something and a mob with enough mods to be deadly throw something at you and boom one shoted, or you zoom throught map to either farm or pex then another MVP just ruin enough hours of grind to make you rage quit
