@@OreoOreoCookie234what’s the point in keeping a participation medal? I threw all mine out as well, the medal isn’t worth keeping if you didn’t at least get top 3. It’s not being tough, it’s understanding not everybody needs a medal if they didn’t win

I remember I played with a kid like this and most of the time it’s just echoing their parent sentiments and the ones that I remember still didn’t become professionals they didn’t even make the highschool team so throwing a medal away doesn’t mean shit

My son just did the same thing after his football banquet. He crumpled up his certificate and threw it away along with the chain with his number on it each player got. My wife screamed, what are you doing? He said, I don’t want some stupid certificate and chain we sucked I want to forget this season. She pulled them both out of the trash. I said, hell yeah!!

It’s called a loser trophy! And ur supposed to wear around and be made of by the winners. Idk who invented the loser trophy, or why people think it’s some kind of “everyone’s a winner” BS but it definitely does not make anyone thinking they’re a winner😂
@MattCanev4192 сағат бұрын
Keep that medal as a symbol to remind you to practice harder. Throwing it away is a baby act. Participation medals are effective as rewards before the age of 10, after that they just remind you that you lost. But Losing is important to building character
