I don't agree with this line of reasoning. I know we have different beliefs but in the Islamic belief anyone who dies on a religion other than Islam will enter hell eternally. So how can you give up preaching Islam to people you love because of "respect and love"? To love someone is to want good for them, even if they are against it. We will always do our best to guide them towards good. Deliberately leaving someone in error and ignorance "out of love" is not love. Admittedly, we don't have the same beliefs, but everyone should act according to their most intimate convictions.

I asked her then, as I don't have a muslim name, and am agnostic, won't I be going to hell when I die? She said no, because I'm a good person and don't know any better.
