I think that game seasoned the Super Falcons because they were amazing. The Nigerian players played in a hot cauldron of Morrocan soup with 9 women and defended stoutly. The Morrocans could not score and they looked like they could carry on defending for the next five hours and the Morrocans would still never score. It was probably one of the most heroic performances I have ever seen from them. They were flashing lights in thier faces and booing etc but the girls showed gr8 character. That day Falcons were not Super they were Magnificent!!!

Ashley you are amazing! Most importantly, you are a great footballer - a tenacious defender and fighter. In addition, you are absolutely gorgeous. You sum up what David said in Psalm 139 - fearfully and wonderfully made. I can say all this without equivocation because I see you are humble and unassuming. Your choice of Nigeria was a great one. Despite all the drawbacks of poor management and underdevelopment, Nigeria is a magical country with amazing people. It is a great setting to position your life. The Super Falcons are an awesome team that can make history. God bless you.

Their is something old school about her. She’s very thoughtful and idealistic. She made her decision very consciously and deliberately and you can feel authenticity in her. Above all, she’s a good defender. The game against Australia was my first time seeing her play. She played very well. She’s got good qualities. Her defending is very solid. Have been following her journey for the past three years now. So far, so good.
