This episode got emotional at the end. Because if you look closely at the flashback of the dream, you see a bunch of hands grab Pomni’s. These are Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, and Kinger’s hands. This symbolizes that Pomni feels more comfortable around everyone knowing that they actually care about everyone who gets abstracted!

I feel like jax's more... Serious side is peaking through the cracks. He is certainly way more aggressive and serious here, also condescending. Previous episode he was snarky and stuff but here he is clearly more than just a sarcastic goober.

This episode was all about the felling of " Will you be relevant to people when you are gone?" .Pomni has a nightmare about it, if she end up abstracted, will someone care? .Gummigo realises that the npcs will just be forgoten by the end of the adventures . And when Pomni sees that they care about Kaufmo, she felt that maybe she will be remembered

In RPG player terms, Jax is basically a "murder hobo", Caine the unfeeling story writer, Gangle and Kinger are just going along with it, Ragatha the one who is trying to get into the story and character, and Pomni is meta...so meta she made the one shot villain become self aware...

26:49 so the ending where Pomni is reliving her nightmare of falling into that abstracted place. She first felt like she was alone and no one will care for her. But after seeing the funeral she realize that the rest of the guys actually are good people and would care for Pomni if she ever becomes a strayed. Also that they will be there for her if she ever falls into a tough situation

I’m so glad that the series got popular enough to make another (or their first) episode. Also that ending hit way harder than it should’ve, I think it’s just the fact that they probably spent years with kuafmo and he’s just gone. You could even see jax looking sad for a quick moment

Upon second watch, did Caine do something horrible to a PC (maybe to the first PC) forgetting they were not an NPC. This fits with the Caine and Able theories.

I believe Gimmigoo will be back... and with his memories. He's supposed to be a more advanced AI, and this episode was all about memories, so I think it's very possible. Also, Caine's comment at the end about who's human and who's an NPC makes me theorize that Jaxx is an NPC that also realized his own existence and is angry about his situation. It kinda explains why he's always so antagonistic and unempathetic towards the rest of the cast.

Either Gangle or Zooble could be an NPC, it doesn't make sense for Jax to be one in my opinion

...But Jax's first line was "Caine, is this another one of your NPC's, or is this a new sucker?", which has him clearly drawing a line between the humans and NPC's, and sorting himself on the human side; if they were foreshadowing an NPC reveal, they'd use the line "is this another NPC or a new sucker" to add some ambiguity to it. And he immediately understands why Pomni's trying to take a headset off, and jokes about how that totally worked for him and the others. Also, he knows what blood is and actively wants to shed some, which isn't something an AI in a childrens game would understand - a lot of characters have been injured, but nobody's actually bled from anything. Which is normal for kids TV/games! Blood is treated as a very strict taboo (much like profanity), so of course there's no blood allowed in this family friendly virtual world. Which means there's no reason for Jax to associate violence with bloodshed unless he's a human. Aaaand the creators said Jax is 22 years old. They've only given ages for the humans, not Caine or any of the other AI's. So that's a pretty strong hint right there. And him being a 22 year old gamer guy also explains why he's always acting like an unbearable prick to everyone else, especially the girls - he only takes a few verbal potshots at Kinger, the active harassment is only aimed at Ragatha, Pomni and Gangle, and some of his comments towards Ragatha and Gangle have been fairly sexist. Gamer guys in their teens/early twenties are not a demographic known for respecting women, so that also tracks with him being human; if Jax was an NPC lashing out at the players, he'd be going after all of them equally. Oh, and the creators also specifically said already that everyone in the main cast is human except for Caine and Bubble. So that's pretty strong evidence right there. It's not that deep, Jax is just a cunt.

12:20 I don't know the technical term for this place, but I call it a "Dev Room". It's a room only developers can access, usually placed near the playable game space where every instance of an object or NPC is stored for the game to draw from. In a sense, it's a shed the game uses as a reference for items, models, and yes, NPCs. Imagine yourself stumbling into a room with everything you own, everyone you've ever known, and a static model of you, no, a physical duplicate of you ready and waiting to be used outside the room in the space you're familiar with. You're not a human. You're just another asset for a simulation. Sweet dreams!

want some existentialism, while its only speculative physics at this point, there is an idea of a "memory foam" field of the quantum foam that "records" and "projects" every possible particle and arrangement of particles into the universe and its timelines. Essentially the asset models of reality that time and space draw from.

pretty good description of whats going on here, though i call these rooms "asset storages" instead since dev room sounds more like a secret party room for devs only. The teapots are a common 3d asset thats used a lot in tutorials or demos for 3d work, especially some older web articles for shaders. it was also kinda funny to hear veggie call default poses an older game thing, even though T-poses are rarely used these days because they're not actually that good just easier, A-poses are still used pretty much everywhere in 3d art for humanoid characters

In dnd terms, Jax seems to enjoy being a chaotic neutral whereas Ragatha tries to be lawful good. Also love the aussie accents for Gummigoo and the other candy NPCs.

There’s a big theory going around about how Jax could potentially be a NPC who figured out they were fake, which would possibly explain why he does the things he does. He knows things r fake, so he wouldn’t have a reason to care for others or whatever happened during the adventures cause it wouldn’t matter in the end, It would also explain how he seminally knows how to access things, like magically having/stealing keyss

The Fudge is based on The Greedy from Raggedy Ann and Andy a Musical Adventure, there is no doubt in my mind. as for the hands, they are Ragatha's, Zooble's, Gangle's, and you can see Kinger's in the back.

I love Jax's too. I can't help loving the agents of chaos or evil little gremlins of a show. It's surprising so many people are up in arms saying "they reconned Jax" or that his too cruel when, that was obviously his character. Just take him as he is or don't like him, that's fine. But I'm excited to see more of his antics in future eps.

blade runners very good, id also recomend the animated series pantheon, its about uploading human minds to the internet, and sentiant ai its a very heavy show with some great action, and a really crazy ending, over all its very forward thinking on the topic of ai.
