Hoping Robert finds his way home to his family. Some pointers: food wise get small things that dont need a microwave or oven for. also most homeless dont have can openers to open cans. sometimes they have utensils. toiletry bag: a bar of soap, tooth brush and toothpaste, pocket tissues, grooming kit(scissors nail clippers tweezers, razor, comb, etc) and a first aid kit. does he have a backpack? ask him if he needs one to carry everything. is he sleeping in a shelter or is he on the streets? does he have a sleeping bag or an umbrella. we have a huge homeless population. generally they stay away from people for fear of being yelled at. A lot of times people are mean to them. The food pantries in our area do the 3 meals a day and we have a mobile clinic where the homeless can go shower and get medical checkups if they need it.

Hi! Thank you so much! This is all so helpful! I did ask him about a backpack! He doesn’t have one. I don’t think he has anything except the clothes on his back! He doesn’t even have a shirt. Only a sweatshirt. No socks either and he is so so dirty. He definitely looks like he’s just sleeping on the street. He also developed a rash on his hand since the last time I saw him. I hope he’s not allergic to any of the food I’ve been giving him. I have clothes for him and am looking for a backpack now. I hope I see him again to give them to him. I’m so sorry to hear you have someone in you life with schizophrenia. (I’m not sure what bb stands for. Is that a family member or friend?) It’s heartbreaking. I’m so glad she has it under control though and that she has you to help her! 💖 Yes, learning budgeting is my first step, next step is learning bills. I think my sons death really set me back from being able to do that. It’s hard to do anything while grieving. 😮‍💨 I don’t know how FarmBoy does it all! I’m so thankful for him!

Happy Tuesday, Lady Di. *sniffles* Great video. I will definitely pray for Robert and relief from his situation. Protein bars are good. Travel size toiletries, a washcloth and hand towel, if you can find a backpacking set of plate, bowl, cup, spork at wally world or goodwill. Or put one together, preferably made of stainless steel. (you can use sand or dirt to clean stainless steel) Ivory bar soap is great at cleaning dishes as well as bodies. All small enough to fit into a small backpack. Underwear and socks are also good. Nuts are great as are trail mixes. Think about backcountry camping or backpacking. Anything like that is good. And, Baby wipes. They can be used to clean all manner of things including himself. 💙
