I'm surprised they didn't mention how close Chaeryoung was to making it into Twice. She made it to the final episode of Sixteen (which was longer than Momo). One of her sisters was also on Sixteen and ended up in IZ*ONE. Ryujin was cast by JYPE while attending a GOT7 fan meeting which is pretty cool. Yeji's audition song was 'Like Ohh-Ahh' by Twice.

As a die heart midzy who has seen several itzy stages, their moments, these girls are genuinely best friends and not just co workers, humble despite being popular and successful, hardworking so much so that even if you give them 3 year old song to perform for 4 hrs they will do it for their fans just like first time. Not only the talent but their personality makes me stan them 🥺

ITZY b-sides are the hidden gems. Many casuals only know their title tracks and wrongly base their discography on that but if u dive into their b-sides you’ll get the full ITZY flavor. I think the best way to get to know their music is to start from the beginning. Perhaps start with the first album and go chronologically, watch mv or live performances for the respective album. If u want to see more personality videos ryjunnies does a good job compiling clips, my personal fav is “loco era was a mess”😂

The fandom recognized official best guide is the Ryujinies channel Guide to ITZY. It's from 2020 or so, so it's a bit out of date but still its the best guide hands down. It plus the Guide you just did is enough. You should start with the MVs in order or Paris ET ITZY. Everyone becomes a full midzy after Paris et ITZY. It's a 5 episode MNET series. (they have 4 now on the M2 channel).

Ready to have your mind blown? The 6th member of Itzy and their original leader was Jeon Somi from YG. A few months before debut when they were signing contracts she left because she did not like the contract so she went to YG to become a soloist. Imagine Somi added to that loaded roster. Chaeryeong's older sister was in Izone. Lia competed in Masked Singer and did very well. Yuna is a MASSIVE Blink. Yeji recently made the top 40 most beautiful woman that Jisoo won for 2nd year in a row. Lia is my bias.

Somi was never in ITZY and she sure wasn't their leader. She left JYPE in the exact same month (Aug 2018) the ITZY members were told they were selected to debut. Your BS about the contracts is BS. She NEVER was selected for ITZY and that is why she left JYPE. The photos of Her with ITZY members from earlier in the year at a twice concert were just her and the trainees at the time who all attended the concert. She was photographed with Chaeryeong because they are friends. Not because she was in ITZY. this has been misreported TIME and TIME again by fan sites. She has never claimed to have been chosen for ITZY and no ITZY member has ever said she was selected. All these years later. In fact its well documented that the 4 oldest members were all called in and informed at the exact same time they were selected for ITZY (YEJI LIA RYUJIN and Chearyeong) Yuna was in middle school at the time and was not available when they held the meeting to inform the members. So she was informed last and became the last member to join ITZY. There was never any SOMI in ITZY.
