When I first started leather craft, and had many many questions, I too was amazed by all the quick answers and responses I would receive from other experienced crafters online. Great community for sure.

Where did you look to for those questions? any forums, discords, chats etc recommendations, just where to look to. I’m an absolute beginner for context haha!

For years I’ve been watching and wanting to get into leather craft but never did and this year one of my New Years resolutions is to find new hobbies and this video is now the video that gave me the push to start leather crafting.

You have a great channel. It's always an Education. Thanks for all the hard work. I'm just starting out, having learnt so much from you, and a few other KZbin leather workers.

How come this is such a masculine community?, I work with leather for fun, and with the right tools I don't need to be strong, I wonder why there aren't more women leather crafters. (I follow you since you worked from home, congratulations on your growth, no matter what discipline, you would have achieve excellence.)

Yeah, I agree this is more of a masculine community but it doesn’t have to be. I have actually started this hobby/business in hopes that my two daughters take it up once they grow up.

Marta Benito: Good question, not only lack of women, but also non-whites.

I bet if you go to a woman’s channel you’ll find it’s less masculine…
@violetviolet8882 жыл бұрын
@@jsniper12 No, women are still significant minority in leather-craft representation. It's not about watching videos from the few women doing the work. It's about equal representation in groups, like these videos are depicting. It's up to the MEN to *invite and show* women in the industry hanging out with each other as a community.

Hi there, this is Ron at Brasfield Leatherworks in Port Saint Lucie Florida, We're way down in SOUTH Florida. I just discovered your channel and wish I had found it earlier. I have made alligator and ostrich purses, belts, guitar straps, wallets, and belts, and lots of other exotic stuff. Until a couple of days ago my only heavy equipment was a Cowboy CB4500 sewing machine, then I bought a Cobra NP6 from Tandy and will receive it in a couple of weeks. What should I watch out for when using it? I have seen how comfortable you are with yours.

Hey, I am new to leather and when I use my edge beveler (from king goods supply of course) I always have a little piece at the end that does not want to come off. What is the best way to remove or prevent this? Thanks

Ryan, Hey. I have loved watching your videos and appreciate the quality of the work you do. I have a couple quick questions: - would you be interested in taking on a unique shoulder bag project that would be Customer designed to carry a specific product? - second, if I could bring you a number of orders for this type of bag , would you be interested in partnering in a drop shipping type of relationship? I really believe this bag would sell well and I know the niche market that would be interested.
