One thing LoR never fails to do is make LoR champs feel exactly like their league counterparts. I think Ambessa is just a clean example of how she plays in League too where she just likes straight up attacking and applying relentless pressure

Another thing that people miss when comparing card draw to coin flips: The only reason why RNG works in games is because it creates a variety of games in a turn based game. Tic-tac-toe is boring because it is too predictable. But card games have this unpredictability that means that bad decks and bad players can still win sometimes. It means that decks have win rates instead of just always winning or always losing against certain match ups. This creates a spectrum and a measurable power level for every play style. And sure, coinflips create this too, but why do RNG in an unfun way when you can do it in a fun way? RNG is just a necessary evil for most people.

I'm kinda sad that these champs are probably going to be nowhere near as fun once the new stages go away, but...I got Lilia's 6 star power on Ambessa today and the synergy was hilarious. I hope they at least make the champ caches stick around as a super rare encounter.
