What a gorgeous new color of the Opus 88 Demo! I love the pen and ink combo too. My Opus 88s are perennially fitted with a Parallel nib and a chromoshader. This one is going on the wishlist for sure. Thank you so much for sharing! 🤘🏼😸🧡🖋

I love Opus 88 pens! Even though the demonstrator is large I still find it comfortable. My current favorite thing to do is to switch out the nib - I have a FPR ultra flex steel nib (the one in the JoWo housing) in it right now and it is so fun to write with! Thank you for sharing your new pen - it’s beautiful!

Gorgeous pen! I love the darker colors with the diamond cast. I think if I had a pen with that much capacity I would never go through all the ink before I wanted to switch it haha. I wouldn’t mind seeing Sailor Shikiori Mirui in that ink lineup; I think it would also be very similar as a super saturated dark green ink with red sheening.

I am the same way, it would take me forever to get through the ink. It would be great for broad and stub nibs, you can go through the ink faster.

Such a good looking pen, Opus 88 make some nice pens. Where did you get the larger wooden sample holder? I have seen them in people's videos for years, and now that I am interested in getting one, I can't find them anywhere.

I thought demonstrator pens were translucent?

I believe this pen shape among the Opus 88 pen models is their "Demonstrator" model - which first came out with a Clear finish to show off the ink in the pen. But Opus 88 has been doing collaborations with this model to create unique designs that are not your typical demonstrator style pens. So I'm not sure if the "Demonstrator" is just the name of the model or if it was meant to always have transparent parts to show ink - but as I've seen, there really is only 1 true demonstrator of this "Demonstrator" model. TWSBI's ECO and Diamond 580 are demonstrators, but their models are not called "Demonstrator" if that helps explain the difference here.
