Much appreciated! It's my version of a 400 year old English folk song. "The Begging Song" Check out Martin Carthy's if you're interested in hearing something closer to the original.

This song at 10:21 is so good! I find myself rewatching this video just to hear it.

I once was taken for a sail in sailboat. Couldn't believe the quietness of moving along and listening to the water being displaced. Until then moving along on water was accompanied with the roar of an outboard motor.

Looks like some potential camping spots on that beach.

Amazing your videos very few boats a sailors paradise. Sad the beach was cluttered with trash but quite common the water.

I enjoyed the song and the video once again. I am willing to bet that your other boats are getting jealous with all the time you’ve spent with this one. Ha ha. Did you give them a name yet Commodore?

I love the music "Wellerman" intro you play, but I can't find your version of it anywhere. Mind sharing a link?

Thank you! So glad you enjoy it. That's me playing and singing. I will have to record the full song. The track from the intro is just that short snippet.

I'd like to film my expkoits like this. I would love to see a video on how you mount your camera in the various positions and what gear you use.

Thanks a couple of thoughts first I like your new song second it wouldn't apply to this video but it has occurred to me that you might well benefit from an actual sculling oar operated from the stern on those skinny water creeks third when ever I go out in my boat I always take at least one or more construction garbage bag a dip net and boat hook amazing whst you pick up just going down the bay not to mention treasures idiots going way to fast lose ie life vest coolers dock lines etc.
@cumberlandrover2 ай бұрын
Thanks so much, Dave! Yes sculling over the stern is a great idea, just not something I can do consistently yet. I too have found some useful stuff in the water and on the bank. It's pretty unbelievable at times.

We see all kinds of trash washed up on the beaches on Ishigaki in Okinawa. Kind of weird to see Coke cans in Korean, shampoo bottles in Chinese, and I once found an innertube with 'psi' instructions in Thai. Ah, the wiles of wind and wave...

That actually sounds really interesting to browse through international trash haha

Most of the trash 🗑️ has blown \ sailed there?
@cumberlandrover2 ай бұрын
Essentially, yes. High water in the spring picks up debris from the bank and it drifts with the current/wind.
