managed to get one recently after mising out 1st go round and despite not being "meta" as a bucc or as fast as my scorpius its tankyness means i can be out "solving problems" for much longer and the fact it is literally dripping in guns makes solving those problems real quick. Im just hoping now to be able to get it upgraded into a f8a one day...

The F8C has become one of my favourite fighters. I've tried some mix with ballistics but I've found that a load of Omnisky laser cannons just works best. I hope it will be made more agile, being a single seater and all. Also, starting a mission with 45% hydration... life on the edge. ;)

I never got to pilot one pre-MM, so I have no clue what its full potential is. I am excited for the MM Tuning though, whenever they get to it. My F8 currently is a hangar queen. I'll have to experiment with loadouts to see which one is most satisfying. That being said, the sound of the mixed loadout you have right now is just *satisfying* to the ears haha

I melted mine twice and im not that keen on it, i do much prefer the F7AMKII, yet not that interested to jump through loops to get it, ive a Buccaneer/Gladius and Arrow, and they are fine for fighters. Melted my F8 for a Polaris, now that's a ship. You like it, its all that matters, Enjoy,

It used to be more maneuverable before MMs, but since then, I'm not liking its flight characteristics much.

@loicrenault9353. It's going to be interesting when the fire mechanics are implemented. I heard that CIG was adding fire mechanics for multi-crew starships, in the upcoming patch or the one after it. A few individuals in evocati have been complaining how it was painful to get into combat, without other player crewmembers, starting from size 3 and up, due to their ship's interior catching fire. If you're playing solo and want to get into combat, it is strongly advisable to stick with a size 2 or lower fighter. Too put it another way, I'm definitely not getting rid of my F8. 😉

They have returned Multiple times now. The only thing you need to buy one at IAE or Invictus is one of the gold tickets which are still on many peoples accounts. I have an extra if you really want one.
