When playing the song, I found it sounded best when you pluck for the verses and strum for the chorus, bridge and outro. Because when you strum, you touch all four strings, it is good to put your finger down for A minor in the chorus and outro.

Using your pointer and ring finger, it may take some time to get used to. You could try just using your thumb if that helps
