Very unique, lovely, historic, warm and love story vlog. It brought tears to my eyes when Jianhao’s gong gong prayed to his parents-in-law, thanking them for giving birth to his wife. Jianhao and his family are truly blessed and fortunate to have the chance to visit their grandparents' historic house. It's amazing that four generations were able to travel together happily. We are also lucky to be part of this experience by watching this vlog. Thank you, Jianhao and his family! 🥰

I couldn't see me my grandmother since my dad and mom's wedding she died. I know I will love her even though i could not get the physical love from her. When ever i see her photos, i just tear up, she was a beautiful, brave and smart women. i always hear many things from my dad. if i ever got to meet my grandmother, i would always be with her. i always say up to the sky that i would stop loving my grandmother when i know howmany hair i have from counting my hair, since i'm lazy so she knows i love her. I love you grandmother, forever and ever.

I hope she is in heaven, proud of your prayers and happy for you❤ I lost my grandfather it was when in I was about 3 years old, I cried so much when i knew that he passed away, I loved him so much and he kissed me both sides of my cheeks I love him so much, he's the most I care about and love the very most, before he passed away he said he will always will be with me it was when I was going to school, after school, my mother told me he passed away. At first I didn't believe her but when I checked he really passed away, I cried tears to tears I miss him so much, if you can hear me, grandpa, know that I'm very loyal to you and I miss you. My grandfather passed away when my mom was 7😭 I couldn't get the chance to meet him. My mom also always talks about him and how is was a great man. I wish could see him tho 😢

My grandma passed away on january, and honestly, u never know that one person in the family would be so important. Treasure ur family members now until the end, dont regret everything in the end. Don't feel sad Jian hao. Even I can understand because even my grandfather passed away this year. He wanted to experience many things, but he couldn't because of his serious conditions. Me and my family felt so sad and today is his birthday. My grandfather died on March 29th, 2024. You should be very happy pls don't be sad. Both my grandparents died between the year 2023 to 2024,my grandma died to a stroke and my granddad died to lung failure. I feel so much regret that I didn’t give them my attention enough before they died.. I always thought they were annoying but not I regret it so much I just wish they wouldn’t have died that early, but after all I’m still so glad that they get to rest with all that fighting.. rest well grandma and granddad.

Gaginang here from Houston, TX….my grand parents were from Chaozhou….its so sad to see all the young folks not being able or speak our traditional tongue. Seems like most only want to speak whatever language they speak where they live until it's too late for them to learn and the regrets kick in. Keep the culture alive and speak to your young ones in Teochew before the language dies out. I consider myself pretty fluent in Teochew and try to teach as many young folks as I can.
