Another great video Valentina. My wife and I enjoy and use many different ways to say this. Funny fact, we add the phrase '(I) Mean it!' sarcastically when we joke around too much with one another. Something like ' Io ti amo...(pausa)...Mean it! ' How would we say that? Sempre grato.

😊 che coppia simpatica! You can say it in two different ways (they are equivalent): "dico davvero" (lit. "I say for real") and "dico sul serio" (lit. "I say seriously"). Of course, like in English, you can use both of them literally or sarcastically, your tone and the context will make the difference.

Buona domanda! We use the verb "adorare" for that, or "piacere" but reinforced with an adverb. So e.g.: "Lo adoro" or "Mi piace moltissimo". Same thing with any tense.

Hi, I just came across this video in hopes of answering a question 😊 I just heard (in a movie) “te ne voglio bene”. I can’t figure out what “ne” is doing in there- I’m familiar with the typical use of “ne”, but why would it be used in that sentence? For context, one character in the film had just said “te voglio tanto bene” and then the other replied “anch’io te ne voglio bene “. Thanks for the great video!

Ottima domanda! And it does show you understand "ne", since from the given phrases it does sound redundant and unnecessary. Is it possible that the reply was "anch'io te ne voglio DI bene?". If so, the usage of ne is still redundant (ne = di bene) but the redundant usage of pronouns is something that happens in real life Italian. The correct sentence should be "anch'io te ne voglio". Hope this helps!
