I Love Zeiss Batis 85mm 1.8! [ZV-E1]

Two month ago I bought a used Zeiss Batis Sonnar 85mm 1.8 for US$550 (taxes included) in very good condition, I like this Lens a lot and I can recommend it !

Awesome! I really like the lens too, but I wish the minimum focus distance was slightly closer..

@@Romafedorov For a 85mm Lens, then the close focus distance is quite common ! I am very fine with the close focusing of the Zeiss Batis Sonnar 85mm 1.8, I have several Macro Lenses if I need to get really close. I once talk to two from Zeiss, they told you cannot get all in an optics, there are always compromises.

That zeiss look 😍 just ordered the batis 25mm for my zv-e1, can’t wait!! I was torn between that, the 24gm and the 24 2.8g I know the GM is considered perfection, but the zeiss look just has so much character!! Cheers!!!

I have both Sony GM Lenses, Zeiss Lenses and Voigtländer APO-Lanthar Lenses, the Sony 24mm 1.4 GM Lens is second to none ! The Zeiss Batis Distagon 25mm 2.0 is a bit too old Lens design and needs to be renewed by Zeiss !

I have this and 25mm f2. To this day, I don't know if they are better than the G-masters. But they do seem more interesting than my 35mm G-master.

Не счет хроматики. Полностью согласен . Так нахваливают цейсы на Сони . Купил 16-35 f4 и через месяц продал . Как начинающий объектив да . Но не более . Хроматика в палец

ну, не даже на видео видна фиолетовая аберрация в центре кадра на листочках, в 2023 году этот объектив в топку! На тестах по стабилизации всё дёргается! За обзор респект. Лишний раз убедился, что от него лучше держаться подальше!

Zeiss Batis 85mm 1.8 the edge sharpness comparing to modern lens is disappointing, no suprise here, but the real good thing is the quality of glass, which is Zeiss quality-----the best and par none. yeah, you can increase sharpness by add more aspherical elements, but will be a large abomination and sacrfice all mobility, which is not preferred.

Был у меня год этот объектив. Увы, так и не понял для каких целей. Во-первых, работа стабилизатора странная, сколько не тестил так и не понял , он там реально есть или для галочки. Во вторых, f1.8 , ни туда -ни сюда, для съёмок ночью - мало, явно нужно 1.4 идеал 1.2...днём,с ND-шником, "моет" чутка больше 2.8, но... вот совсем не принципиально, другое дело 1.4, разница с 2.8 капитальная. В общем, продал.
