I really like you, your channel and your videos since years, but some of these live performances are boring af. Don´t get me wrong! I really like your attitude, humor and understand that you try to be a "creator", but some of your last videos are like watching paint drying on a wall. please don´t get me wrong!I really do like you and your channel and whatever gets you through the days and night is alright! But if your goal is to reach more people, get more comments and subscribers you should do some more interesting things for the masses! Try some different german beers, unpack some Temu packages, react to some german TV shows, test some german food or listen to some german Hits, give some advice for americans living in germany...the list is really endless and won´t cost you a fortune! If you don´t wanna do these kind of things, it´s totally ok!!! After all its YOUR Channel and your decision and you can upload whatever you wish and like! At the end of the day it´s YOUR decision if you wanna be "famous" or want to fill some spare time of your day streaming videos, thoughts and opinions to a handfull of your friends and decent followers. Hey there usbxg. I appreciate your opinion on the channel and I thank you for being a part of it throughout the years. Allow me explain and clarify some things. 1. "some of these live performances are boring af" a.) Maybe to YOU, because you're looking for constant stimulation and not actually chatting, engaging and acting like a part of the community. (if you watch, why aren't you chatting? why aren't you communicating with others? why aren't you asking questions?) Now you see what lurking the whole time, does. While I realize that I am not going crazy with a lot of distracting antics, I am comfortable with the flow of my Live Streams. Admittedly, I WOULD like more to be a part of the Streams, but in general, I do not make these with the thought that they will "blow up" or anything. At the height of my Streaming career, that didn't happen. I am not one to get extreme with over stimulating Live Stream content and I never have been. The most I will do is have a drink with my viewers, run some music, flash some lights and/or have a sound effect or two that enhances whatever is happening. ie. applause for new members/subs. I don't do Kai Cenat or iShowspeed caliber Streams. That has just never been me and never will be. I have a community that (though small), they really enjoy the time "watching this paint dry". Sorry to disappoint in that regard. 2. "if your goal is to reach more people, get more comments and subscribers you should do some more interesting things for the masses!" a.) You stated that you've been around the channel for years, right? Well over the years, I have always explained my intentions for the channel. There was a time when I was ACTIVELY seeking to reach more people and gain subs. But my very last upload (not Live Stream) detailed my intentions for the channel going forward. You must have missed that one. Maybe check it out and see if you still feel this way. 3. I know you've only stated examples that relate to you, but I must reiterate, I am no longer an "American In Germany" content creator. That chapter of my creator story is over. I am not passionate about any of that and I feel that I have exhausted any and all "advice" I have. And that stuff is still on the channel...if anyone needs advice, they can watch it still. I'm not going to make "part 2's" of everything like many others do. Thats not my idea of fun. Also...the aforementioned video upload that you likely didn't see, explains all that as well. Not to mention the first upload of Jan 2023 when I FIRST explained my content pivot. Other people in the community suggest I do more reactions. Others suggest more real life vlogs. Others suggest more travel stuff. And others suggest I dive into properly learning short films. My point is, what YOU think would be great for the channel is YOUR taste in entertainment. So many people would NOT like if I tested German food. They would NOT like listening to German music. Then what do I do? What the NEXT person suggests is entertaining? Nah man, sorry. Bro...I HAVE to do what satisfies ME. 4. "it´s YOUR decision if you wanna be "famous" or want to fill some spare time of your day streaming videos, thoughts and opinions to a handfull of your friends and decent followers." a.) This is the most important thing from your comment. Not only have I NEVER sought fame, but I have indeed ALWAYS just uploaded whatever I wanted. Besides a few stints of algorithm chasing (early 2021's daily uploads of Germany-based reactions), I have ALWAYS gone with whatever I wanted to do. Sometimes to my channels very detriment. Many say that I switched up so much that I was "shooting myself in the foot" and self sabotaging. But none of that mattered because it was ME that needed to be happy with what I'm doing. Having a "handful" sized community is fine by me. Your comment suggests that you didn't know my goals, my strategy, my plans or even my personality. It's cool. I ain't mad. But at least now you should understand this space a bit better. So again, thank you for your interest up to now, but you seem to have developed into one of the "short attention span" folks that I actually talked about in a recent stream (I don't mean that disrespectfully). Those that keep coming back to my streams (and uploads) do so BY CHOICE. That means that there is interest there, whether whats happening reaches YOUR level of being entertained, or not...and it's ok if it doesn't. I'm fine if people move on from my type of content (my type of entertainment). The upload of mine that I keep referencing will tell you that I'm not chasing numbers. I'm not chasing the algorithm. I'm not going to rack my brain trying to think up ways to CONSTANTLY keep up stimulation for viewers. I ONLY want to tell stories in my uploads, and enjoy the company of like minded people of this community in the Live Streams. Don't misunderstand me, I will always accept and appreciate any growth or financial returns that my channel could possibly achieve one day. But me chasing viewers' attention through overdoing things and behaving in ways/creating stuff I'm not satisfied with ain't gonna be MY way of getting there. All of that is way to stressful, for just a hobby...which is what this is. Hope this doesn't turn you away, but I won't hold it against you if it does. Take care of yourself.✌🏾
