I remember the first artist I was actually proud of. I submitted it for a local high school contest, and they displayed it upside down. Not only that , but despite being inside a building with no windows, it was returned to me sun bleached.

Man of I wasn’t committed to engineering I’d’ve gone down this path. Art history is my jam and in-front of a few Pollock paintings at a museum I explained both the meanings his wife made up for them, his personal history, and why those ones in particular had no true meaning given by him. It was fun bc a small crowd formed.

Kind of a myth: money laundering through art was big in the old days due to art's ability to have high speculative prices, but there's better and quicker ways to launder your money nowadays: crypto, shell companies, even donating to your "favorite" streamer who's actually receiving a cut. ;)

@@foolishlyfoolhardy6004 that is a recessed box. It has a Fire Extinguisher INSIDE the wall because an ART STUDIO doesn’t want a clunky box hanging off the wall. I was pointing out that it doesn’t have a glass view port like MOST extinguisher boxes do, and that they used vertical lettering when they had the space for horizontal which is easier to read.
