Since foxes are one of my favorite families of animal, I decided to look up what foxes are native to Canada (and Newfoundland, specifically) because I'm mostly familiar with the species we have down here in the States. Turns out in addition to the more common Red Fox and Gray Fox, Newfoundland is also home to the Swift fox, which had been severely endangered for decades and was even marked locally extinct in Canada in the 1930s. And, of course, the Arctic Fox which is my favorite, and the coolest fox imo. Pun absolutely intended.
