A very enjoyable story with great pace and rich detail in the narrative; it kept me curious and hooked - it reminded me of "the time machine" but gone wrong, therefore more realistic. It's one of my nightmares, walking unaware into some wormhole opening and arriving into the bare, raw, stale days of the past - I would die just by knowing that I lost everything and nothing to do about it. Even with its own problems, this present time is fantastic. Thank you!
