At 28 I got sick and lost the ability to walk for three years. I went from working and working out three hours a day (intense cardio) to being in bed in so much pain all day. When I got infusions and got better I realized HEALTH IS ALL THAT MATTERS. WHY!? Without it you can’t work. Enjoy life. You can’t have hobbies. If you are stuck in bed your quality of life is horrible esp if you have chronic pain. TREAT YOUR BODY LIKE YOU WOULD want your child to treat theirs. You get one. I went through the same situation but at almost 33! I get infusions every 6 months to keep me from flaring. It’s been nearly 3 years and I’m still trying to get back to wear I was before my diagnosis. It has been a very humbling journey having to rely on my husband and my children for so long, but I thank God every day For the beautiful relationship and closeness we have because I would not have survived this long without them. Trying to undo the damage from my treatments while they were trying to save my life is proving very difficult, but I’m still staying positive 🖤 I hope you’re doing well and are happy and healthy!
