1. She's a nice girl, very self conscious, very well prepared and capable of doing an excellent job as an interviewer. 2. Fabiano in a shy guy, it was apparent on other occasions. 3. Nothing strange if there is a little sexual curiosity between two young people like them. More on Fabiano's side, maybe, but not only. 4. Most of the comments in the thread made me smile. I don't find them especially bothering or offensive, but I'm not a woman. 5. BTW: I couldn't find where Fabiano describes himself as "a machine". Get over yourself. She's interviewing him on camera, for goodness' sake. As an interviewer, you try to engage your subject and to make him or her open up and respond. And of course Fabi never referred to himself as a machine... -how unsurprising that someone would lie about one of the strongest players ever

Yeah he does look a lot like Botvinnik. Maybe he'll start an American school of chess.

08:33 is a perfect example of him having at least "something" for her... I mean... An objective person's reaction wouldn't be to assume that she'd think he would be making compliments to her based on nationality. At that point it's obvious he felt some attraction. To which extent - who knows...
@Jonathan-wj6uh4 жыл бұрын
Oh stfu with that bs. He probably is more excited about chess than the interview lmao. The comment section is proof that people watch too much porn.

Dude calm down. In another gib chess video, Nigel Short too, when asked about the next big thing, said to her "the Indian kids, and it's not because of your nationality". It's just a natural reaction.

I think she's a great interviewer. Maybe she could have pushed a little, by asking if Naka was in that 'category' ... but I guess it's fair enough to leave us guessing, as he did state that he didn't want to say.
