Dommage que la chanson est tiré à la dérision dans le clip, alors qu'elle est très nostalgique. Même dans la bande dessiné Lucky Luke elle n'est jamais là pour faire rire, mais pour tiré le voile sur le quotidien solitaire de nombreux cow-boys de l'époque qui n'était que des gardiens de vaches intérimaires et qui devenait chasseurs de primes par la force des choses par manque d'argent. Bref, c'est un peu un manque de respect de l’œuvre originelle, de la musique originelle et même de la mémoire et la culture country et des blancs qui ont participé à la fondation des USA qui vivaient une vie rude et pas toujours très enviable malgré les promesses d'une vie meilleure sur le nouveau monde. Sinon, belle reprise musicalement.
