As a Scandinavian, I’d say that I’m pretty happy with our politicians. They are fairly honest and responsible-as far as politicians go. We constantly (all Nordic countries) rate in the top of the Democracy Index. People have the right to express and critisize. Our media and our courts are independent and politicians, religious leaders or royalty have no power over them. I’d say that we are much ”free’er” than Americans who claim ”freedom” as their big thing.

In the video, he walked into a “galleria”, which is a much smaller version of a mall. There are like hundreds of malls in sweden. Check out mall of Scandinavia. While small to an average Chinese mall, size doesn’t always matter, it’s about the quality of the mall. I’ve looked at some Chinese malls before, and they’re often just too unnecessarily big and soulless. And the galleria is quite nice, very well designed mall with nice furniture, feels warm and is not big and hollow like typical asian malls.

Where did you get the year 1629 from. The Royal Palace was completed in the 1750s. The old castle "Tre Kronor" was destroyed in a fire in 1697. That castle originated from the 13th century. Its destruction by fire was and is a national tragedy as most of Sweden's national archives were destroyed making Sweden's early history hard to document.
@Asa...S10 ай бұрын
"You can see over there, is Sweden's Royal Palace, built in 1629, for the king of Sweden, who then went on to invent IKEA, and that's Sweden's history basically". So you didn't realize that was a joke by the way he said that..?

Sweden is in the grip of a rise in gang violence and shootings that has taken citizens and leaders by surprise. In the words of the prime minister, Ulf Kristersson, this year: “Sweden has never before seen anything like this. No other country in Europe is seeing anything like this.” The gun-murder rate in the Swedish capital was roughly 30 times that of London on a per capita basis in 2022. However, the unrest has spread to smaller cities.
