In my opinion, you shouldn't have rush early and went straight to Scissors, you should have rode Blond first, make sure you have 2 grade 2s on your front row every turn started from turn 3 onwards, build your field early with the help of those damage enabler, and THEN you rode Scissors for next turn, that way you'll almost guaranteed to have 2 intecepts all the time (i suggest you also put that grade 2 with 8000 power that CC and SC when you call him from the deck)

I’ve been playing Ezel a lot this season and I would say run more spirits (i play 3 of each) and potentially the 8k G2 that can CC and SC.
