I remember an episode where Thomas was given a huge task; The Circus Train had to be brought to, I think, was the fairgrounds and Gordon had the nerve to say, "That's a very big job for a small engine" If I were a Thomas character, and as a diesel locomotive, I would've said, "Coming from the oh-so-mighty-and-powerful Express Engine who can't even get over his own hill" And the other Steamies would honestly laugh at that because everyone knows it's true. . .

The locomotive appears to be from mainland europe, as Britain doesn’t have a prominent 2-8-0 that I am aware of that looks like that.
