I am an immigrant, was never easy but here I am sharing my story. Have you ever considered to move to another country? What’s your take on immigration? Before I emigrated my country I had the wrong opinion about immigration. I was naive, I thought it was a simple thing and that anyone could do it… but oh boy I was so wrong. There is so much paperwork involved and a lot of bureaucracy. You must be a very strong minded person to survive this process but I will never regret of this life changing decision.
@drewgrows77654 ай бұрын
You immigrated the right way. America is a country of immigrants. People are mainly offended by immigrants who come in the door illegally. It's like they are visiting, and their first act is to break the laws. And it overwhelms the system.

I am originally from Germany. I attended music college in Boston, MA, from 2000 to 2003. After graduation, I returned to Germany because I didn't feel ready to live in the U.S. yet. I was able to get a merit-based green card and immigrated in November 2016. I became a U.S. citizen in 2023. I absolutely LOVE this country now, and vanlife has enabled me to see so much of it already. It still blows my mind that various states are bigger than Germany. I also still feel strongly connected to Germany and might move back one day to spend more time with my family. For the most part, I have only met good people here, but I share some of the cons with you, like the quality of food. Also my mom is from Venezuela, immigrated to Germany in the 80s, moved to Southern Spain when she retired. So I grew up with the life of an immigrant. Safe travels! 😎🇺🇲

They cross the border illegally to get the food stamps, free phones and free everything else Democrats are handing out in order to change the voting demographics of every state for all future elections. And food in Canada is so expensive because 1- it's a socialist country so EVERYTHING is more expensive and 2- Canadians realized they can't live on Maple Syrup and Bacon but because they can't grow or produce anything due to crappy weather 8 months out of the year...they have to import everything to live. She is NOT the same as the immigrants from third world countries. She seems like she came here just because she wanted to live in American for fun. not because it was life or death. Hii Lidia, I just found your channel and wanted to say that you honestly deserve more views. Your videos are both entertaining and educational, and I really enjoy your bubbly personality and genuine honesty. You're incredibly strong and brave, and I wish you all the best. I can't wait to see more of your content and I'll definitely be sharing your channel with my friends too!! 😊 Also if it's okay to ask, I would love to see a video on hygiene tips, like shaving and other routines, because you always look so clean and put-together despite living in a van (love the brown color btw it's soo cute!).

It's definitely a big step. I'm sure it takes a special person to make a life change like that. Very few things could be considered bigger than moving over an ocean to somewhere new.

Lidia! It's so refreshing to hear someone who is content with what they have. I know you want to stay away from politics but Biden is a P0S and hopefully things will get better for EVERYONE including LEGAL IMMIGRANTS when Trump is back in office.

I'm learning Spanish. When you said you won 25 pounds I wondered why you used the word won. And then I thought about losing weight. And I thought oh wow that makes sense haha. You're doing awesome with your English, I hear it's many times harder than learning Spanish. And only 6 months in, I already understand why. Also "gained" or "lost" weight is how it's said. I felt like I am now obligated to throw that in there 😄❤️ love your channel, new sub.

I love Spain! It is right up there with Italy in my book. I visited Malaga and it's so similar to Southern California in so many ways.

@LidiaRico Although I will go as a tourist only, still your points are still very interesting. I don't have plans to move there because I prefer Europe anyway 😀👍. But to see the states, it's definitely worth it to go.

Its stressful for us too when it comes to food. Thats one of the issues here. We get to vote with our dollar and support the businesses that are practicing regenerative farming etc. Its a huge issue here and they're trying to do it in europe too. love you and thanks for sharing your testimony !! Coming from a first generation elsalvadorian/argentinian ...besos 🥰
