Hey Beelz - welcome back. Some tips. 1. You can get boons from only 3 deities at a time and the fates. Eventually you can use rerolls to flips things around. 2. Alterations change the deity on offer. Reroll changes the boons offered. Banish removes a boon from offer. 3. Hitting tab shows your boons/effects. The witch gave you pull range iirc. 4. The shop offers good items, check it often. 5. The books and bookshelf stuff is mostly lore, but fun to read. 6. Attack Damage = your auto attack and Spell Damage = your skills from gods. 7. There are enemies with barriers (blue bar) they cannot be staggered while the barrier is up. 8. When you curse enemies, their health bar turns green. 9. Justice gives mostly defensive and utility stuff, so she's essentially a set of training wheels. 10. Every "Wave" of enemies is essentially a dps check for your next boss. 11. Mineral Spring is extra XP% while it lasts.

Glad to have you back! 33 hours duuude I hate that kind of travel, I've done the Maine to Florida drive and the Maine to Hawaii flight and they sucked and they were like only a bit more than half as long as yours. The best way to describe this game is I think is Vamp Survivor gameplay loop meets Diablo equipment looting meets Hades leveling and skills. All these give it a great foundation and it's really fun but it still needs just a bit more in my opinion in the story and goals department to get you more invested and give you a goal to work towards like Hades and Diablo, other than Death is bad and the other gods are helping you. Since it is only early access I'm really hoping this'll be addressed, otherwise the game falls off a bit too quickly for me.

There are legendary spells in this game that are absolutely bonkers. I got one today that gave me 125% plus dmg for a 20% increase in dmg taken. Legendary summons that just wipe out screens of enemies. Really cool game and I cant wait for the final product.

How exactly do the perks work in this game? i dont quite get how to equip them

You level up, a random god appears and offers you a choice of 3 different perks. Choose one and and you're done. Some trigger from specific actions like basic attacks or dashes. Most are passive and will either trigger based on chance or when other conditions are met (enemies dying etc).

I was also skeptical of this game at first but I did give it a try and really enjoyed it. I like the art and voice acting as well. I usually add like hades as well with the god upgrades that do attack, spells, defense and mobility... mostly from Halls of torment being the straight up diablo vampire survivors.

3 tips for starters: unique itens, all unique have a... unique efect and is the same for everone, the gear was randow stats but unique gear not, cuz the bind system only one hero can use the unique, if you want swap, sell this and praise to drop again (is very rare good unique itens to drop). dont sell onix dragon itens, if you find this ones reserve to a great build (and mix with outher characters), can be a relic, weapon, head and another piece with one onix dragon (not sure with one), and yes, you can have 4 dragon at start at once. farm gold in the level is not good, sell all trash stuff to make money (over time you will sell red items and be kinda very rich!), for a bonus in this topic, rogue girl is great later to farm stuff (danger 25 is a good one to farm gear and money) and mage girl is the strong character, works to farm too (use the universal vacum perk and lets go). Have fun!
