Elementary schools are not usually on my hit list either UNLESS they have sports fields and tot lots that adults access with their kids outside of school hours. Sadly around here they're fencing all the schools off like prisons so.......people don't use them anymore. Nice grab on the ring though!

I got a fat gold ring that rings up one number higher than the average pulltab, but i tried the pulltab challenge and only dug up garvage for 50 targets

Heehee that was me that said some pennies are steel, there's some rare ones that are like 2006 either logo or no logo magnetic or non magnetic and if you get the right combinations of all those variables it's low mintage

Nice ring, I only ever found one gold ring since I started detecting April 2023 But on Monday I found 2 sterling rings and a tungsten carbide wedding band

There's a rare mounties coin worth hundreds, if the denticles on the obverse are right up against the edge, normal ones there's a little gap It's called the large bust variety
