It's a pretty standard chart. Simple grid with colored square showing which side of the matchup won at the intersection by color.

Everyone keeps talking about beef forgetting he can edit signs, no the real problem is that beef continues to forget death loop, losing his games early, and yet keeps scar in his deck.

In regards to the match with XB: 1. XB used two single effects in one turn, the chest and then the bad omen. Is this a change? I haven't been keeping up with it. 2. Scars death never used Death Loop, so XB won prematurely, and even though Beef probably would have lost anyways, he never got his extra turn at the end!

Matches end prematurely all the time when the player is at a stalemate. In this case, even if he did trigger deathloop, his best move would have been a composter, which won't be beneficial until the turn after by which point XB has enough damage KO scar after death loop. I noticed that hermits often forget Scar's deathloop, but in this case, I don't think it was necessary. .

I think you can use two single effects as long as one is not targeting the other player. In this case, he used the chest on himself, and then the bad omen on Beef. They use effects on themselves and then a damaging card like TNT or a sword all the time.

@@shawnheidingsfelder8179Nope you can’t do that. The only effect card that allows you to play one after it is Piston. And the only hermit + move that allows you to play 2 effect cards is Rare Gem’s GeminiSlay.

@@h-hues Wouldn't have mattered. Beef would use his composter but wouldn't be able to use anything he got until the following turn, at which point he'd be dead. They just called it early.

Beef, first of all you could have stayed alive with death loop for another turn, and on the turn Xb placed bad omen, he had already placed a chest in the same turn, so he played two single use cards in the same turn

Between XB using two single-use cards on one turn which disabled your healing, and you not using the death loop ability to give you one more turn at the end, little bit of a finicky win for XB. However, you being able to fight so well considering, your rolls which were not the best is a good sign!

Death loop wouldn’t have changed the effective outcome, just prolonged it by one turn. Beef had nothing left.

Beef. I must ask you to go watch Cleo’s season 6 episode 18 entitled “The Her-monculous”. What you need to study is the first 10 minutes of their episode, paying attention particularly to timestamp 7:25. A quote: “There is something we need to talk about... I am not Stressmonster. I am also not Falsesymmetry. Falsesymmetry is not Stressmonster. Stressmonster is not Falsesymmetry. We need to talk about this, guys. This is Hermitcraft basics!” 8:28 “We’re also colour-coded for your convenience!! Falsesymmetry is blonde. Stressmonster is a brunette. I am a redhead. It’s not hard!!”

When you quipped that you were sacrificing Ren, it made me wonder if there could be a Chess Rules variant to TCG, especially now that board positions matter. Wels(knight) does extra damage to the card two up/down and across from him. Queens (e.g. Cleo) can freely move around the board. The King (Ren) can also move freely and does extra damage if wearing armor, but killing him is an end to the game. Bdubs (Crastle/Rook) can spread his attack evenly straight down the opposing column. Xb card could have a (Bishop) attack which hits on the diagonal - admittedly a stretch but y'all don't really do religion on Hermitcraft. The chess roles could be assigned to more Hermit cards, the ones I named are just examples.

Hey Beef, perhaps you change how coins are awarded? I suggest awarding coins per hermit knockout instead of just a win. Here's why; winners would still receive the 3 coin max but losers would be awarded based on how well they played. Max would be 2 coins if it was a close match and 0 if they got stomped. Just a thought.

For season 3 of Tcg you should change the amount to win 5 and make ultra rare count as 2 (like ex, mega, or v max from Pokémon) and make more of all the ultra rare cards.
