Hell of a first spin Johnson! My favorite memory of The Mirage was meeting Siegfried. He was such a kind man, he actually chased me down to say hello, because i was in a wheelchair. There was a long line of people and he left them and talked with me for about five minutes. They are truly missed!!

My first (and only, so far) trip to Vegas was this past March for my 60th birthday. We stayed at the Mirage and we were upgraded to a suite (top floor), because the man checking us in accidentally gave away a surprise. My husband planned the trip for the 2 of us to celebrate my milestone, but my son also planned for all of my kids to join us! IT WAS AWESOME! I want to go back so bad!!!

Mirage memory #2- two years before our wedding we were in Vegas- we went to secret gardens to see the dolphins and birds etc, as we were walking through the gardens they made an announcement that everyone has to leave immediately as a swarm of killer bees had come through from Mexico and was attacking the flowers and wildlife in the gardens! Back in 1985 I was 13 years old and my mom and I went to Las Vegas to visit my aunt who was a cocktail waitress at the Mirage. It was the first casino I have ever been to. I was secretly playing slots when security came over and told me I can sit and watch, but I couldn’t play. 😂 I still have the Mirage bucket that I took that had my quarters in it. Such a fun casino back in the day.

I love the Mirage! I think they had an ice cream shop called Coconuts, a very long time ago and had the very best ice cream I’ve ever had! Always loved the aquarium behind the reservation desk, just a beautiful place! So many good memories there! Sad to see it go, but excited to see the Hard Rock when it opens! 🫶🏻🎰

I was fortunate enough to have seen Sigfreid and Roy back in 92'. It was THE most amazing show I have ever seen. General admission tickets were $100, but worth every penny My parents and I stayed in Vegas for a week and we would eat breakfast everyday at the Denny's right across the street from the Mirage and we would watch the Dancing Fountains during the day and watch the volcano eruption, every night ! Vegas wasn't quite as family oriented back then, but, luckily I had just turned 21, the year before. I have been dying to get back, since then. Awesome hit on Autumn Moon, by the way! I have been a huge fan, since day 1 !

One of the group had amazing status and we stayed in one of their wonderful 2 bedroom suites. The view was spectacular.
