Hi Zoey. Nice to see you back. You guys moved to costa rica same time we did but we were south and you were north. Now we are north and you are south...how funny is that? We were in the mountains above san isidro de general perez zeledon for the first 7 months. Absolutley stunning area but the mountain driving got very tedious for us and dangerous. We now live on a smaller mountain just a few minutes out of Samara. Beautiful mountain and surrounded by jungle Canopy. Love hearing the howler monkeys every day. The difference between here and Nosara are night and day. I did not much care for Nosara or tamagringo. But different strokes for different folks ;). The OSA is beautiful also......We are heading back that way next month for a week to visit our costa rican family. Enjoy the OSA! Pura Vida ;)

Hey there, wow we swapped places haha! Is the climate hotter up north? And I love the perez zeldon area! So lush and tons of mountains! Thanks for sharing your experience on here! Who knows- it could really support someone who is deciding where to move:)

@@zoewilliamson_costarica Hi ;)....Yes ! when I saw, one of your previous videos, I knew you were no longer in Guanacaste. We loved Perez zeledon but we did not like the mountain driving. Much better infrastructure here for sur & less than two hrs to liberia airport on all paved hyw. and no crazy mountain driving. We are up on a mountain central to both Samara and Carrillo so much nicer up here for sure. I also find the beaches spectacular here and for sure more swimmer friendly. Are you staying in the mountains? We are almost finished out two brand new Rental Casitas. with a 10x30 pool. Give me a shout if you are ever heading this way ok ;) Pura Vida!

Saludos y bendiciones, Zoe. Gracias.

The south pacific area is greener, it has low touristic development, more virgin places to wonder, my dad use toi work in that part of the country for 4 decades. I think you would prefer the south pacific, Wish you the best.!!! Try playa Ventanas!!

Oh wow the Osa area! We are an Aussie family and have been researching a possible move to the Nosara area. We had just started watching your channel amongst others for research and inspiration. Only yesterday I came across some videos of the Pan Dulce beach area and that great looking right hand point break!! We then searched some real estate listings and I believe may have viewed a listing for where you guys have purchased! We were wondering what the infrastructure and lifestyle is like down there in comparison to Nosara? Nosara appears to be getting busier and more expensive by the day?
@zoewilliamson_costarica2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! congrats on considering moving to CR!! If you would like contacts for a realtor, shipping company, travel agent, ect, please let me know and I am happy to supply them to help make your move smoother! And to give you the full in-depth scoop about Nosara, then I recommend to message my mom on Facebook Messenger and she is happy to connect 1 on 1. Her name is "Jen Williamson" on Facebook and is fairly quick to reply on there:)

Hey that all sounds fantastic!! Thank you!! May we ask what are you guys are now located? It really looks a stunning view! We have watched some videos of the Matapalo and Pan Dulce areas and they look stunning! What is the access to supplies etc like?
@zoewilliamson_costarica2 жыл бұрын
@@haydnthrelfall8394 We are located in the Uvita/ Dominical/ Ojochal area. And there are 2 Matapalos here in CR. I have visited the one bordering Panama and I actually have a video vlogging this experience if you want to check it out (link attached below): kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJuylKiJm5JqY5o I will say this Matapolo area is super jungly and pretty rural. The more south you go in the country, the more jungle and rural it gets! I have not been to Pan Dulce yet. Also regarding access to supplies where I live: Shipping can be expensive if getting things from the states so I recommend to order ahead before moving here. I plan on making a "what to pack" video to assist people with exactly this. There are hardware and furniture stores around but limited options where I live. I live about 3.5 hours away from the main big city, San Jose and they have almost everything there. A Pricesmart (its like costco), malls, great shopping ect. We try to go there quarterly to have access to these stores:)

I seen you guys in Nosara which I wasnt that impressed with as a location to buy. Too touristy and no good stores. Hopefully wherever you are now is a little more accessible and not overpriced. Im coming back down to look again soon and hope to find something . Good to see you back on youtube, you have a talent for video making.

Everything is so beautiful! Have you ever wondered what kind of person you could become if you lived as a real adult in the real world, completely free from this soft and extremely privileged cocoon of extended adolescence? I'll keep following you, hoping that someday we might have a chance to see how strong and resourceful you can really be as your own free and independent person. Buena suerte!
@zoewilliamson_costarica2 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth Churchill. Yes it is beautiful here and I am gladly enjoying this period in my life. If you know me, you would know that I am actually an incredibly resourceful, free, strong, independent woman. Just because I do not take the traditional path in life, doesn't mean that I am "cocooned", "privileged" or living my adolescent years wrongly. Little does my channel know that I have 2 other business' aside from this channel and working my way to financial independence this year. Pura Vida and I hope that you find internal peace.

Wow, shame on you for assuming Zoe is not free or strong. Such hatred for a young, ambitious, full of life human. I wish to be as happy as Zoe one day.
@elizabethchurchill29332 жыл бұрын
@@DcArmy9015 Excuse me? Where do you see hatred, or what I do or don't assume? You're reading a lot into my question, and that's entirely on you. Zoe is young, she still has a lot to learn about herself and who she has the potential to become. That's not a criticism. She IS living a life of extreme privilege, compared to most Ticas (or even Americans) her age. She doesn't appear to be living independently; as far as I can tell, she lives with and works for her affluent parents. That's not a criticism either, just an observation, and certainly doesn't imply "hatred." I enjoy her channel.
