I'm Back to Rise - Smash Ultimate Little Mac Montage

After some steep hills and bumpy roads, I finally finished it! Actually that's still after 3.1. The opponent I fought was Hero, so that earliest the clip could've been from was at most 4.0, but I remembered getting that clip earlier this year. I was just lucky with the follow-ups (that are now unfortunately untrue lol) and that the Hero didn't realize he could just jump right out in between each hit of jab 3.

Quality montage! Up-air-> KO is true combo sauciness. D-tilt-> DJ dair->jab(I think)->KO was mad disorienting. I would have died too. On captain Falcon did you send him into spike tumble with D-air?

If you're talking about that platform reset near the beginning with the Pink Falcon, then yeah it was lol. It's actually one of the best uses for Dair for Little Mac in niche situations like those, especially on BF plats, where you knock the opponent up onto the plats at specific percents using D-tilt, U-tilt, or D-throw. If the opponent misses the tech (harder for them to tech the sooner they land on the plat), you can jablock them on the platform by performing a rising Dair which takes a little bit of practice because of the angles your 3 main options for platform resets. The best punish for it at most percents is usually Usmash since you're able to sweetspot with it pretty easily after successfully landing the platform reset and can lead into a kill. As for Uair, the interesting thing about Little Mac's U-air is that it can actually combo into almost anything from our kit. Labbing it, I found that you could even combo Uair > Dair (but of course, why would you? Lol). On paper, it's basically the Sm4sh d-tilt of Ultimate, but in practice it is too difficult to consistently land for combo purposes because of its hard-to-land hitbox. Overall though, style points remain high so I see no problem~.

Actually have a list of Up-air combos that work on Mario(it's supposed to be 0-100, but I've only reached 60ish). Been working on learning double d-air lately. It's so fly, and allows a jablock on everyone in the cast, but it's so difficult! I think you did one, but would have to rewatch. Have you checked Phyto-1's videos for Mac? With your love for the technical, if you haven't, I'm sure you'd love it! Thanks for the reply :)
