Welcome back. While you were gone I built one of your Hot Composters and it is working very well. I used 4" thick expanded Polystyrene and it seems to keep the heat in just fine.

Comfortable days but cold nights, today 91 degrees Fahrenheit but tonight going down to the thirties, so I just got done dragging all my house plants in. Not so great gardening year. We'll be heading back to Connecticut next month before the real cold weather hits (-40 degrees Fahrenheit).

@niallgardens oh it will for sure. All good here,enjoying a crazy unamed storm here today. Had success with corn this year,super delighted. Fruit were superb. Potatoes were bad this year,I nearly feel like giving up growing them. Can't wait to hear how your trees are the ones you planted in the veg garden. Weird,still have raspberries,strawberries and tomatoes growing. Glad you are back Niall,really am.

Just got 2 used IBC tanks so can try to get water eventually to my poly and orchard! Been a year without doing more than we should! So looking forward to next year already! Our garden is still colourful,marigolds, cosmos and ageratum and sunflowers still look ok but a bit battered with the weather, looking out the window now the cosmos are dancing in the wind, love them,so do the bees. @niallgardens We had a lot of small branches down and lots of leaves, but no damage. Two of my Moringa trees were laying almost down. I was able to right them and trim the top weight. Moringa is the Tree of Life (incase you aren't familiar with it) I hope you're going to do a home tour ❤️

Hello you! I'd say it's been full-on enough that I'm very close to that point, but it's easing off again now! Oh yeah so my blueberries are just about right now with a load more still to harvest... I'm gonna move them into the greenhouse for a few extra days in the hope of sweetening them up even more then harvest the lot! How are you keeping?
