When i drive, i use truckertimer app. It acts just like a tacho and switches to other work as soon as you stop. It's nice to have a visual display of all your driving and working time on one screen

which way would you have gone Scott? as surely the bypass would be easier than through Port Talbot town, I know it is longer route, but all the Lemmings in town!! I tend to take the bypass when coming back to Bridgend from Cwmafan, although hate getting onto the M4 in Port Talbot. or did you suggest J38 end of the bypass?

Also if you have a 15min break you can push your working time from 6hrs to 9hrs not 8.30 anymore

OK correct me if I'm wrong. When you hit 6 hrs working time you need a half hour break which we all know. So how dose having a 15 minute break reset your 6 hour rule and as you said push it onto a 9 hour period. That would make taking the full half hour pointless if 15 minutes dose the same thing. And sorry my original point too this comment was in my head the 6 hour rule will only reset after half hour is taken. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

@@burgerman3 I didn't get his understanding either of working time rules. An initial 15 minute break does not reset the 6 hour rule, it just counts towards it. He needs another 15 to count towards the 30 min after 6 hours. I don't think it was a problem with explanation, Luke has just got it wrong.

I was trying to think Port Talbot - which services? and do think 20 minutes remaining when you pulled off at Cardiff West, yeah think it would be pushing it a bit for time to get to Cardiff East Services in 20 minutes. Why pay the training school for an assessment? They will tell you you need 16 hours training. You have never driven a Class 2 before, what are they assessing? Shop around, go and see the truck you are training in and meet your instructor. Stay away from the "brokers" regardless of what they promise you job wise, when you pass.

If you download promods map mod for Euro Truck you can go to that Mc Donald’s at the end of the M4 in game too lol. Funny seeing you coming over the bridge usually Martyn territory lol. Recently I’ve been taken photos of the bridge right under it on the English side. Easier to get too than on my side in Wales lol
