I have never commented on ur video though I’ve watched ur videos .. but wondered where you have been . I have an adopted dog who’s 4 , I love him exactly how you love moon . He’s mildly aggressive and territorial just like how u mentioned , and yes I can totally relate to the anxiety you were referring to , when we’re not sure if the dog would attack someone in the house . I’m just trying to manage coz of how much I love him . Anyway , I just wanted to say I hope with all my heart that Moon is healthy and doing good wherever he is , and that you don’t deserve the amount of self guilt and blame ure putting on urself . I strongly empathise with ur emotions and can say how much genuine and kind of a human you are. Life happens in weird ways , but you should always remember what you had in heart when you took these actions ! Akankshaaaaa, I can totalllyyyy relate how you feel, can’t imagine myself in your shoes. Like you said everything in life happens for a reason and this one was one of them. Moon boyyy came to your life to teach you how to be empathetic towards other beings. How much ever we all console you this is going to be with you forever, but I just hope and pray that god gives you the strength to handle this and come back stronger. I will pray with my wholeeee heart for Moon’s safety and his well being. I hope we find him sooon. Hey Akanksha. First of all, sending you SOOOOOOOOOO much love. ❤️ I can’t even imagine how difficult this has been, and none of us are going to hate you for this video whatsoever. To tell you my story, I have an indie dog who’s now 7 years old. He was the nicest most social pup at the early stages. But when he turned around 2-2.5 years old, he viciously attacked me, and I had to have a plastic surgery to get the Damage fixed. I related so much when you said your parents tried to accept him and they love him, but it was difficult that he was aggressive towards you. This just hit me right in the feels. Anyway, my parents quickly found a place for him to stay, while I was having my surgeries and we hoped that being there would change things up. A few months later we found that they weren’t taking proper care of him so I moved him to a much nicer, very luxurious boarding place. It took me YEARSSSSSSS to even get over the fear, but I could not imagine my life without him and I wanted to try being around him again. So id visit every now and then and I know dogs may not feel “sorry” or anything but the way I felt around him made me feel like he really was sorry. He saw my stitches/ scars and wept and wept and wept every single time. And then came Covid and my mental health went down the freaking drain with ALLLL OF THIS that had happened and I still had the scars/ stitches and everyday was a fkn battle. And FINALLY after the lockdown madness, we decided to bring him home one day to see if he could possibly be normal and not aggressive around us, and I thank my goddamn stars that it’s been 3 years since he’s been back home and everything has been good so far. ♡ Anyway, the point I wanted to make was the fear and the sadness I saw in my parents fully broke me. They fully fully were on board to finding a farmhouse for him and we came super close to doing that. I cannot imagine the heavy heart, the pain, the feeling of not being around your baby that you’re going through. I hope and pray Moon will be doing well wherever he is and sending you loads and loads of ♡. I hope you get to see moon again ♡

Can relate with you so much.... had to give up our pet cat(I reached out to you if you know any cat Foster cares on insta) since I'm not in Hyd anymore and I didn't want him to be a burden to my aunt and uncle who are 60+ old. I feel your guilt that I couldn't take care of him , which is sad. I really pray and hope that you find him one day and wherever he is, he is safe❤ You did all you could do.. don't blame yourself too much for what happened. Firstly you are not at all one of the those who abandoned their pet. You literally went out of your capacity to look after him but it was not enough for him and that's why you had to take the call of giving him up to cater to his well being. It's really tough to be in your position and feel so much guilt within yourself ( I'm a pet parent too - trust me I really understand). We are humans too, liable to make mistakes, wrong decisions especially when we are new at things. I can only say that this is sooo devastating experience what happened with you. Moon being an indie, been taken care so well like moving out for him, seeking professional help for him is sooo much that maybe another pet parent wouldn't even think or for whatever reasons. Moon will definitely be found cause you genuinely genuinely love him, he definitely is seeking his own peace, nature might heal him and sooner he'll come around and meet you in a better position. Just want you to know that you are a great pet parent!.. Don't be soooo harsh on yourself Everything will pan out the way you want, hope you find strength.

Omg I also had a dog who is exactly like moon aggressive towards us she used to bit my mom and me aggressively and we tried to getting her trained but before that she passed away due to some medical issues but yeah I really hope you get pass this,it took me and my mom so long to get over her 😭😭😭😭

Almost same situation happened to me when I resuced a dog and got him adopted to someone I know but they left him without even letting me know in a week and he was such a calm dog. I still deal with so much guilt and regret. I feel you. I'm so sorry for what you feel.

Hii Akansha....I don't know if you would see this comment but I REALLY REALLY hope you would!! I just saw your video about Moon and I don't know if you had seen previous messages of mine but Moon looks alot like my dog (she is 9 now), and I when you first posted a vlog about him I literally screen recorded it because it felt like I was looking at my dog being a puppy again :) My dog is also a very aggressive dog but also the kindest, intelligent girl and SHE IS MY WORLD AND EVERYTHING ELSE!! She has bitten me many times and in your video you said " he doesn't know that he loves me and we love him so much" and i LITERALLY felt that. I was crying watching your video it was a hard watch, and I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. And when she was 3 she somehow cut her collar during her walk and ran away, luckily after 24 hrs we found her, but that 24hrs I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. Till date i get so anxious while taking her for walks or taking her to the vet. I'm sorry this is a long message, I'll get to the point, I just wanted to say that it is very natural to feel guilt and I get you, but you did not know what the outcome would be when you had given him to the farmhouse... And I am not even religious but I will pray everyday that he finds his way back to you...and for his safety! I cannot imagine what you're going through... Just know you are the light to many dogs life and Moon loved you!!! ( And probably sue the farmhouse? Can you do that? ) Anyway, sorry for this long comment, praying you get moon back! ❤️

So sorry that this happened , it is just soo heartbreaking. Glad you did your best to take care of him and get him trained. The farm decision could have gone either way, so many such free spirited indies are more suitable for farm and do well in open spaces. So you couldnt have predicted this! And yes these Indie babies are so adaptable that Moon sure would have found his place there in the surrounding villages :) One of my Indies, Bella got lost for 2-3 days when we got her adopted initially. It was raining badly and new area for her so I was just so worried that she was lost and possibly hurt. Found her after 2-3 days of searching, she was definitely relieved to be found but the lil one snuck into some open gate the previous night nd slept on their door mat :) Indies are so smart, loving and definitely survivors, so dont you worry❤

Just because i had a dream of finding moon and giving back to you while you came running with tears , i pray god that happens in rl! I do regret choosing that one but Boarding was not for just for boarding and keeping him there forever. It was for boarding and training him which would be for a period of couple of months. Which was a temporary thing to help him get better but it didn’t seem like it would work. So we need a permanent place to keep him.

Hey akanksha. The farmhouse person is gaslighting you by putting it on you. The fact that he offered to take moon made him seem like a trustworthy person and you are not wrong to do that. You are just human. Also u are not like the ppl who abandon dogs on the road, you searched for a trainer for months and then to find him a good home. Moon has spent some amazing years with you and you did what you knew was the best for him. Im sure moon did something that was good for him as well. My sons is asking me to get a fish as a pet and I didn’t adhere to it saying when we are ready to give a positive space for it in our house we will. For me anyone who can’t speak up for themselves be it a pet need more care than our own children.

But where did you find her not being ready and still got a pet ? she did everything .. convinced her parents , she moved out of the house , skipped meeting ppl , hired a trainer all this even costed her mental peace and got her anxiety too ! If you say you can’t be kind to someone who got the dog malnutritioned or who abused it or who did not take good care or gave love then it’s totally understandable. But to someone who did so much for moon and only put the him in farmhouse for his own well being how can you say shes not ready for responsibility for the fault of that farmhouse guy ? Yes probably she trusted him too quick that he’ll take care of moon but other than that what else you expect any pet owner to do. Not here to argue sorry if my thoughts are not relatable to you 💜
