Dude, you’re rocking this series. I’ve put hundreds of hours into this game and it’s so refreshing to see someone figuring it out for the first time. You’re also an entertaining player. Hilarious bandit encounter! Get that villager working on your woodshed and start collecting you logs - don’t dig up those stumps, trees regrow in 2 years. Your beautiful village will look plain without those trees around.

When using the craftsman hammer, if you click on decor option while facing a wall, you can put lights on the cabins. Adding decor to interior cabins make villagers happy.

Not that it matters much, because you can reset your skill points later. Though, usually in games where you have a finite amount of points to spend, you don't wanna go for leveling faster. Once you reach the cap, that investment stops being even remotely useful, whereas it could have been spent in a skill that continues to gift you something. Loving the series, mate!

Winter is going to be worse. I found some winter clothing along the map. Either in those camps or carts. The bandits that attacked you have some stuff at their camp too. If you can kill them, you can raid their camp. You are right. Don't waste time. Work through the night even if it's just collecting rocks, sticks or cutting down trees. Later on, when you have a lot of villages it's actually kind of better to sleep. While you are awake they use resources. I usually don't start sleeping over night until year 5 or so.

You can use Inspector Mode to see the villagers stats when deciding who to hire.

If you go to where you started the game, there might be something handy to keep you cool in summer.. I would also recommend checking that first cart and the camp by the lake again with a closer eye. Nice job on these videos. 👍 Edit: Also, if you feel the three day season is too short, there is a slider in the settings you can expand the seasons with. 👌

i think its cute that don lives in a fantasy world where bandits and marauders are "nice" and hes trying to play a fantasy game with bandits and marauders that arent "nice" and doing what they do best and still being surprised. "i dont even know what i did to those guys to make them not like me" ill answer this for you. when you were hunting the fox, they were walking in the woods around you. i saw them a few times before you were attacked. fun fact: if you see an overturned cart in the middle of a road, most likely, it was attacked by bandits and said bandits are using the cart as bait for unsuspecting passersby (you). so before just walking up to ruined/abandoned campsites and carts, do a perimeter check to make sure bandits arent hiding in the bushes (yes, they do that). as for WHY they attacked you, its because you existed in their general vicinity. bandits and marauders, believe it or not, want to kill you by default. also i hope you know im just being silly by how im talking, but im serious about the info. they really are default - kill player on sight.

dont remove stomps, they will regrow after 2 years. start building a farm you will need it very soon, all crops must be sold to pay your tax every spring, dont mess with the IRS especialy the medievel one 😂 it would be a shame if you turn out to be a witch woulden't you think pesant 😂
