It’s a game changer in the segment. The main competitor would have been the Cayman but the Cayman was already questionable in my book for the money and now it’s completely irrelevant. I was hoping for more changes to the motor from the LT1 but...if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The DCT is a massive game changer. Massive. I think it’ll ultimately outperform ALOT of cars for less money. The Corvette has always done this. I just wonder if it’ll be enough to sway people from other brands. Guess time will tell. Can’t wait to see the official numbers once people start running them. It’s sure to be the most overall performance per dollar by a long shot, not even close.

I love the design bro and I'm thinking of going with a Z51 C8 red exterior yellow brake calipers black seats and red seat belts, mostly likely would order in year 2 not trying to pay any mark up. Remember a midengine car will always outperform front engine

When I first saw the pictures I was in love, but the more I look at it there's some weird stuff going on with it. The back is rough, and the area between the front door and rear wheel is funky also. But all in all I think Chevy changed the game with this car. The corvette is still the best bang for the buck.

I want to see one lowered with a lip, wheels, and a duckbill rear wing instead of the goofy wing that comes on them. I know I'll be keeping my C7 for the long haul but if it's in the cards a C8 Z06 would be a great stablemate.

I’m going to buy either the z06 C8 or the Z51 but I’m not paying any markup . The performance and looks are very intriguing it’s going to take the corvette into a new direction 👍🏾

TheHvk it made the prices drop drastically and I have a C7 Z06 now to prove it! Only spent 55k with 9k miles when sticker price new back in 2017 was damn near double what I paid.

Everyone is talking about 60k but I don’t buy the base level of any car. They can go ahead. And that time 0-60 is only with the Z51 package. I’ll pass

Chevy was smart if you buy this c8 your buying the next one to next year on the zo6 version this is a base model so your spending 150 k anyways lol 😂 and this one is not good looking enough to jump into it backs a camaro should have done round lights but not buying this model and I have one on are show so I have driven it and it’s ok not anything special
