About the gear inspection quest (for anyone curious): all you need is a hat! The starter race gear is already set at the base level that's needed, so just buying a hat finishes it (or if you have the Helm of Light from the ARR collectors edition that works too). Also strangely enough, Limsa is the only starter zone that has a side quest that you have to pick up before you can leave the tutorial area. The other two just immediately throw you into the regular area with all the other players immediately after grabbing the second MSQ quest. But I'm kind of now wanting to do this, though there are some side quests I absolutely skip over in later expansions because I hated doing them on main.

I plan on doing this during a content lull except not on an alt. My BRD is only 21 and I plan to start in Limsa and do all the sidequests in the game. No xp buffs, no food buffs and no tome gear. I love the idea that the WoL "retires" and goes incognito as a wandering bard helping the common folk.

Me opening all jobs and having to do all quests for exp. The only ones I struggle with are the "no marker" type quests. One year in on xbox and I haven't finished Stormblood yet and all jobs are 70.

I have done every quest in the game (except for savage and ultimate content) . It add so much depth to the world, IMO. BTW, the lower level quests do give you enough gear for the gear check later, so I guess you just took the cash at the beginning.

I have the same challenge just a slightly different rule set. The first 3 rules are the same, the new ones is that I must complete every duty in that expansion E.X : bahaumat raids in arr (unsynced with friends is allowed). As well getting the base for of each relic weapon/tools. And no unlocking jobs from expansions your not at yet. In short the completion route of this challenge.

Doin all the quests in the game sounds like a challenge to me, that means all ultimates all classes all those huge crafter grinds. Don’t think many people have done that

All beastmen quests, lvl 100 every class, every dungeon, every single duty, every triple triad quest. The vast majority of people would not do this.
