I just listened to these vs the Dali Rubicon 6 and KEF R11. I'd never heard Paradym before but am set on changing from my old Dynaudio standmounts to these. Awesome sound with my Hegel H190!!

I love Barney Miller! And Fish, Wojo and Harris, too! 😉 I was at my local dealer yesterday, and they had these, the 120's, and a demo pair of B&W 804 D3's for $6500. I'm semi-interested in the 804's- wonder how the 100f's would compare for a similar price. Didn't want to ask my salesman to hook them up until I was serious. Thanks for the video!

I run the Paradigm Founder 100F’s, 90C and 40B’s. They are powered by the Anthem AVM70, MCA325 and MCA525. Subwoofers are the Perlisten D215S and D15S. Endgame for me. All Midnight Cherry. We all have our vision for our systems. Good luck in your search. If you ever get to the Chicago area look me up as I would love your feedback on my three systems.

You should look into trying brands like Ascend Acoustics, Philharmonic, Arendal, & Marchaudio. They're more underground audiophile brands that are extremely high value and all measure insanely well. Arendal's 1528 series is like budget Perslisten. Ascend Acoustics also has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee & on Black Friday they have solid discounts every year. You wont find speakers that measure as well as well as Ascend Acoustics per dollar, they also post all their klippel measurements publicly.

I was a monitor audio fan for 15yrs plus, then I heard the 100F! Wow, they certainly sound bigger and fill the room like I've never before! Only if you spend another 5/6k on speakers, so I felt they were punching above their weight! I've 100f, 90c, and 4 70lcr, with MRX1140, Mca325, and mca525. And I'm blow away!!! Now saving for AVM90, and two more subs! 😊

I am an Audophile....on a budget. $6000 for a pair of front mains is a lot of money. I have the POLK S50's. Compared these to the Klipsch level of mains and was blown away by the audio perfection the POLK speakers have and made the choice. Glad you stuck with your current speakers because there may have been some regret if you didn't

The Martin Logan Motion XT F200 towers are around $2,200 per speaker. The Polk R700 towers are around $1,000 per speaker on Amazon. These are both great speakers and better than the Paradigms that were demoed in this video imo.

Speakers as so personal and subjective. I demoed the 100Fs against the KEF R11s, Sonus Faber Sonetto VIII G2, B&W 804 D4s, and even with the Persona 5Fs and the 100Fs sounded the best to my ears and most importantly across multiple tracks that aren't mastered all that well. It made music across the board much more enjoyable without lacking anything in detail and imaging. The bass is spectacular for their size. I really was expecting to like the Persona 5Fs as I was honing in on them as my next speakers. They we're absolutely amazing with their Beryllium tweeters but only for the best recorded tracks. Otherwise, we're overly fatiguing for poor recordings where the 100Fs made these same tracks enjoyable. The Founders are incredible for the technology and price no matter how you cut it.
@Kpaceguy27 күн бұрын
@@scslite5206 i personally would take the persona's over any of what you named. I love those speakers but are currently outside what I want to spend
@scslite520627 күн бұрын
@@Kpaceguy That makes sense. I believe the KEF R11s can make bad recordings sound bright as well. You seem to like speakers that are tilted up which the Personas definitely are. I see why the 100Fs didn't sing to you and absolutely nothing wrong with that. Cheers!

Wish you would take a look at the Philharmonic speaker line and visit the AVR forum thread to see what others say. I had the Polk LSIM line and sold it for the philharmonic HT Towers, center and Monitors. The wide dispersion of the Philharmonic is amazing and they are my endgame speakers for sure. I bought them after reading Audioholics review of them and talking to owners.

Those speakers aren't going to image very well slammed up against the wall like that. You have to move them out a few feet to see what they can do.

They are downported so you could actually get away with placing them there
@Pete.across.the.street2 ай бұрын
@@Sly_Kaw it shouldn't matter where the port is located. You can get good imaging with front, side, and bottom ports. It's extremely unlikely you can get proper imaging with them that close to the wall.
@kkenmmac222 ай бұрын
@@Sly_KawPlacing any speaker near a wall is not good, see below. Speaker boundary interference response (SBIR) is a common issue that occurs when speakers are placed near walls or other boundaries in a room. It's caused by the interaction between the direct sound from the speaker and the reflected sound from the boundary, which can lead to an uneven frequency response and reduced volume.
