Wow, just now I've realized how much Finnish enunciation resembles Japanese. I love the new type of content Myst.

I wouldn't be surprised if the finnish & the japanese languages had some common ancestry. Probably a far-fetched conclusion?

Turisas refers to the octopus (tursas in common Finnish) Louhi commands, you can see it in her attack animations ^^ Loved seeing a Japanese vid for a change, the "Haista paska" really made me chuckle. I think I'll end up 120ing her in NA, she is so adorable...
This is actually a really impressive video that shows the beauty of language and culture. A Finnish guy who usually talks English is speaking Japanese to explain to the Japanese what the new Finnish Servant's lines mean. Really neat.

I can understand Japanese so watching this video is pretty interesting, it’s fun to test my Japanese even if there are English subs available

Kiitos!! As I wanted to know what she says, this video is amazing!! I’m so happy with I can learn Finnish greetings through FGO and your video. I’d like to speak some in sometime in the future. ありがとうございます!
I may not be Japanese but I have Finnish heritage so learning about all these Finnish cultural references in her voice lines was pretty fun. Thank you, Myst.

Bro I understood almost everything, your Japanese is soo good, hope we get more videos like this it helps to practice a little the hearing part too

Honestly, this is really cool and it makes me appreciate just how much research and effort was put into Louhi. It's great to see you are branching out to a Japanese audience too. I hope your channel continues to grow and we get to see your Kadoc Cosplay!
The chad myst strikes again, -does small Japanese bits in first video -second one is just fully in it

Oh!! Man this is awesome. English isn't my first language and really want to learn to use it properly. Now I see you doing this and makes me want to study more! Great video!
I am Taiwanese and my English is very poor so I use Google Translate. Please forgive me. This video was recommended because of the algorithm I have also studied a little Japanese and your pronunciation is very good for a native English speaker. I'm very happy to see this video, it must be a big challenge I watched your previous FGO videos. Although I didn’t understand them very well, they were really interesting. Already subscribed

Holy hell Myst I just wanna say how left field it was when you mentioned the Kalevala. Reason being is because I did a slideshow on Finland when I was in ninth grade and part of the project was to talk about a piece of folklore from Finland and I just so happened to find the Kalevala.

you know what, great idea. This is like the one time you can say "hey I actually know the context for all of this". And might even be a case where you potentially know the context better than the game writers lol. So trying to reach a wider audience for a video like this actually feels valuable.

I would say about 2 years of studying the language semi-actively.
I think your level of japanese is amazing after 2 years of self study. I read that you learned about 2 years. I'm also learning japanese for about 2-3 years now with some gaps inbetween, but I'm nowhere near at your level.
