I prefer maps in a modern style. When the eyes are not too good they are much clearer. In Biblical times there would be no maps comparable to either a 200 - 300 year old style or a modern map so why not go with the modern?

I'm creating this map primarily to use in our Docuseries Walking Tanach. It has to look good on film and got with the style. A modern looking map wouldn't go well. The main difference between a map from 300 years ago ans one from 2,000 or 3,000 years ago is only it's accuracy not so much it's style. Withe way it would be hand drawn on parchment.
