The shield gain passives were fine, I think your mistake was choosing bombs for the weapon. Pistol or maybe machine gun to accurately target what you want to pull in instead of just pulling in a big chunk of enemies all at once to where you can't deal with them might have been the play. Great video as always!

30:36 yes its +25% knockback and minus size both things you want and -25% dmg is good to make them survive till you eat them 🤷‍♂️ i dunno i would say yes its good for the spirit of this particular run

The turret variants are unlocked later on along with something called the 'turret trials which you can do once unlocking X turret with the perks that are needed to start the challenge. I'm not certain of the perk variants yet but I'm sure completing depth 5 of 'brood' mode shall reveal a similar challenge mode perhaps. The reactor is just a synergy with healing builds, gives shields as tank in exchange for 2 health per wave. (Not max health)

Turbine's tooltip didn't make sense because the wording is adapted to suit your turret, Diesel got no cooldown mechanic, so Turbine does nothing, except hurt you if you ever manage to refuel somehow

Shiled up and hp down seems good. If you start with 20hp in 9 turn you will have 36shield and 2 hp almost double amount of your starting hp. And you will never have to buy ho to heal ever again

From my experiments with this turret the key to a good run is definitely to get C extinct and then either G extinct, or rushing. And Fav weapon sofar for it is CCGG

I think some sort of hyperbeam build might be good with this, as it gets rid of the projectiles that damage you really easily and might be able to suck things in as well

What about the same concept, but use the 4C laser instead and have high knockback, penetration, low damage for precision eating build

healing 4 life in exchange of a reroll is not a worthy exchange. basically we are mending a single hit by giving up a reroll where if we can reroll into a better weapon/passive we wouldn't be taking that much damage in the first place. Mid to late game biomass acquisition becomes really an issue, so healing becomes more and more a trap option imo.
