The first episode of a new KZbin series: Making an Electric 2010 Volkswagen Polo 6R with more than 200 HP!
Have you ever had a car where you thought: "You really don't need anything else"...? Thats my Volkswagen Polo... It has been my very first car which I bought during Highschool in 2016 and I have done an insane amount of kms, roadtrips and nice drives with this car. That's why I always kept it, even when I bought my dreamcar, an Audi A3 Sedan in full S-Line spec... I kept it for a very nice project....
First some specs on this Volkswagen Polo 6R: It's a 2009-2017 Polo of the fifth generation, with the undestructable 1.4L naturally aspirated engine. Although really reliable and sounding quite fun it lacked a bit in performance with only 86HP and 132Nm of torque... Also this car was not super efficient with a consumption of around 15km/L of fuel. This could be improved... quite a bit.
In 2021 I started my start-up company ‪@mission-e‬ to do the things that I like: Engineering stuff, Improving and working on Cars & being able to contribute some positive impact in the energy transition with sustainable transport solutions. Now finally after 3 years of trial and error I'm finally able to convert my Volkswagen Polo to an efficient, fast and very personal car. The ultimate hatchback sleeper!!
