I personally like podcasts because I have "watching videos" fatigue but NOT "listening to interesting, intelligent, thoughtful conversation'" fatigue. I think because that latter category is sorely in short supply so, bravo to you!

IDK, I feel people have podcast fatigue. Everyone has one these days so those of us that listen to them are spread thin but I’ll give it a listen when it comes out.

Yes, too much information out there and information that may be pseudoscientific or highly polarising

Hello Robin, thanks for another motivation. I have been part of your channel for over 3 years now. I started to study Philosophy with your help on University. In my 3rd year I dropped out because I felt forced to study topics which I was not interested and could not focus on topics which I really loved. Here in Slovakia it was too heavily german oriented on our University (Hegel mostly) and for example my beloved Helenistic Philosophy got space in curiculum not for one class, but for one lesson, which for me was very sad. So You taught me a lot, how to enjoy stuff just for my self mostly, not for sake of others or for sake of Academics. Now I am Junior Software Developer and fully enjoying Philosophy on the side.:) Keep up with the good work. As soon as you start Patreon, I will be there buddy.

Hi Robin, how do you find your phd topic? Have you intentionally hunted for it or it just came up naturally? Good like with your phd application and your future academic journey as well!

Is there any way we can read the thesis before enduring all the academy bureaucracy?

I was able to pull it from apple podcasts. Here is the rss link api.substack.com/feed/podcast/1402742.rss Both substack and apple were obfuscation this. Enshitification is lovely.
