I live in a country with different cultures, languages and etc in each region, and honestly when you move to a different region due to work or marriage or university. It can get extremely hard...you start to miss the familiar sounds that people in your region make and etc. Nothing wrong with missing your family or friends or familiar surroundings. You are literally in a whole different continent. Anyways, wish you all the best with your new home.

One thing we love about you, is your heart for your country. We leave our homes and sometimes forget were we come from so is nice to know your heart is still home lol even if you are joking but we know the love is deep. The shoes look comfortable. Are there let’s of African restaurants were you are? Is kinda hard finding Ghanaian restaurants in Oregon. It helps quench the thirst of missing home. ❤️❤️❤️

Missing home can be stressful if you not busy, so volunteer at the daycare until you become employed. Or take a class in the local university or college just to keep yourself busy. Your husband is more comfortable but he doesn't like pranks, keep it real, enjoyed you guys.😀

It looks easy but it's not , some people might say you are too selfish and ungrateful you have a chance outside Kenya , others will say you are too proud and a diva . It's not easy like them being here is easy for them to navigate the African life , but being there it's not easy , the culture shock, you tend to be careful on what you say the things you think are a joke in Kenya huko it's like a hate crime or some forbidden curse like you feel you will get into trouble.
