@@bumwau how do you difference them? This track sounds very melodic to me. When i think of trance i think of Adagio for strings

@@danielrojas6143 Trance is known to literally to have a noticeable melody as well so when you say 'melodic', you've described an element of trance. But what makes this more trance is the mid-song climax followed by a soft breakdown, and then a gradual build-up again then drop. That's Trance. That's what this song is. The moment "melodic techno" has an strong melody with a noticeable drop, it's crossed over to trance. Nothing wrong with that and with artists making tracks like this. It's great actually because it helps keeps trance relevant. It would help to call it what it is though but the current industry isn't doing that. Armin called it out recently though

@@danielrojas6143 melodic house & techno or melodic tech house. There is a "house" kick for every second kick so it cant be just techno by definition. Good song though
