This is actually something that can happen, i googled it and apparently its true. As the surgeon said to the twins, not everyone was so lucky to be separated. Since i think they were too attached *literally* and some shared organs. Thank god these two manage to get separated.

Actually yes when the male and female gamete meet to form the zygote, the zygote while dividing sometime doesn't divide completely, and the two divisions if have nucleus, they can become attached babies.
