Another very likable cover. Kudos to you and your clones, Anne. I made a comment a while back about how annoying ads had become on KZbin. Even though other people have expressed similar complaints in the recent past, I hadn’t realized the real source of my unpleasant experiences. I almost exclusively watch videos on television, using my incredibly kludgy Roku. It makes navigating anything excruciatingly slow and cumbersome. You cannot easily and quickly skip ads that you’ve seen hundreds of times before, as you can using a browser. I should have thought about that before I whined to you about it, but I hadn’t watched KZbin for awhile on my phone or computer. So you rightfully took me to task about what I had said. I apologize for writing before thinking. Anyway, some time ago I realized why your videos are so likable, at least to me. You voice and style are unique, to the point of being instantly recognizable. You do make good use of your clones, but you aren’t cloning anyone else. Some very famous vocal performers sound identical to me for the most part. Your voice and performances are pleasantly fresh. I’m old enough to remember when audio was just audio, not the audio portion of a video performance. Vocalists tried hard to be unique in those days, unlike the way it seems to my ears now. I have read some comments criticizing you for what they believe is a lack of talent. I’m not really sure they know what talent is. I’m 63 years old, and I’ve played guitar for 50 of those years. I’ve played in all sorts of bands, and worked with quite a few singers. In the long run, nobody remembers standard fare. Your originality, pleasing voice and delivery are hallmarks of your talent. Don’t let anybody make you think otherwise. 🤗
